Genuinely, who does not adore a excellent higher college sweethearts tale? From prom to their wedding day, Sylvia and Matthew’s wedding story comes straight out of storybooks. Purple Tree Photography, Bloom & Firm, and Warehouse 84 conspired to produce a dream day for the satisfied couple, and ended up with a wedding with no shortage of concepts for any garden-loving brides.
From the bride, Sylvia: Matthew and I started our really like story as high college sweethearts when he asked me to be his girlfriend at prom. After 10 years together, Matthew planned a surprise trip to New York City and got down on one knee amongst the trees and flowers at Brooklyn Botanical Gardens to ask me to be his wife. The place of his proposal inspired me to have a lot of florals and greenery in our wedding with a soft spring colour palette. As such, we chose the most beautiful orchard in Niagara-on-the-Lake to host our massive day. From the lengthy trees that lined the driveway to the garden swing in front of the house, we knew this was the excellent quaint location for us.
Our remarkable florist produced a gorgeous floral arch for our ceremony, with lanterns on the sides and soft petals down the aisle. Becoming an outdoor ceremony I was quite concerned with how the climate would turn out. It began off calling for rain, but as our ceremony started the sun came out and the birds began chirping, we couldn’t have asked for a much more best day. Our guests enjoyed a beautiful charcuterie set up in the course of cocktail hour and took element in some lawn games ahead of heading to our reception. Our venue brought in as significantly green space as feasible to our reception, adding trees and ivy walls which looked remarkable under the string lighting and chandeliers. The tables were adorned with soft blush and ivory linens, gorgeous flower arrangements, gold tapestry candles and wooden table numbers handmade by the groom and I.
We shared our 1st dance as husband and wife, a heartfelt dance with my father, and my husband with his mother, prior to our scrumptious meals had been served. Just outside of our reception were fire pits for guests to sit by and mingle, and to end the night we headed more than the venues’ stunning bridge with sparklers and a lantern sent off by my new husband and I. A huge thank you goes to our remarkable photographers who captured every moment for us to cherish forever, and to all of our vendors who produced this the most unforgettable day of our lives.
